Different type of business but I am on the Board of Directors of 2 non-profits. The bigger one was about 40K in the red..with a rough income of 100K per year, maybe a tad less. It took some work to bring that back to a good place.

The smaller one takes in maybe 4-5K a year (seasonal) and when my partner and I took it over, we got a few surprises..some bigger than others. Among others, I found the previous admin had an outstanding bill with the printing company they'd used.

Bankruptcy I can't speak to but if there were previous issues that may not have been a realistic option.

 

Throw some grip tape down where someone would use it as a step, that's my plan.

Excellent idea. Same thing I do with my bikes.

 

I tried this.. turned out to be a horrible idea. During the Summer when wearing shorts I would slide out and scrape the entire back of my leg on the grip tape. Leaving a hair and skin behind on the sliders. I guess if you do it, try and keep the contact patch to the very top and not round the side.
