Good... that way while she is driving barefoot, she can also stick her fingers in the links and risk getting jammed up before a hairline corner...
    Should be fine... :p

My woman is 4'11" and she didn't like the seating position in the Tacos we test drove awhile back. That's why she's dead set on a new Ranger after we test drove one last November. The seating and visibility all around are excellent for shorter people.

I buy manual transmission vehicles exclusively with the intent of keeping my wife from driving them.

Love her to death, but holy fuck is she hard on a car.

That had to be more expensive than trading the truck.

Probably an inseam length problem? My wife is 5'2" and has a hard time reaching the pedals.

I taught my 5'3 GF to drive MT on my 0 month old Tacoma. That was 8 years ago. She did good. We have since been married for 7.

I am 5'10" and remember thinking I couldn't find the correct seating position in the truck when I first bought it. Like if I scooted the seat up close enough to where I wanted it, my shin hit the dash trim when reaching for the clutch, etc. I've since got used to it but I think the seating position adjustments are just bad in the Tacoma in general - especially coming from a Forester which is probably one of the best cars in terms of catering to the driver's comfort/visibility. All the other midsize trucks definitely have a leg up in the comfort department IMO

My mom who is all of 5’0”...maybe... with shoes on wanted to drive mine when I got it. We took a drive to get a cup of coffee and she handled it just fine.

Where did you find a new Ranger last November?? Not sure they were building them yet. Still haven't seen one.

Central Florida International Auto show. Ford was sending them to different auto shows around the country during the last half of last year for test drives. This was to get interest for pre-orders.
