    Upgraded from my 1998 Single Cab Paradise Blue Tacoma, to a 2018 Cement Quad Cab TRD Sport! Wasn’t really liking the driving experience as i felt the rear view was in my face... but i googled the problem and found the answer here! Became an instant fan of the site and have chronic’d out in the forums since! Looking to get some ideas to make my Taco a little different from the 1000’s here in Hawaii!

    Welcome and love the cement color. As mentioned above, try looking for group buys to help offset the shipping cost out there. the main thing im working on with my 18 OR is de chroming the truck. once i get around to it going to black out my emblems, and the chrom around the grill. (or just buy a new one). Also i did the tailgate inserts. mostly other then that ive done inside mods and such. Like the DMM (dashtop multi mount found on TW) was a great mod. and seat covers from Bartact to help with the FL sand and husky dog hair. Good luck with the build and making it yours!

    Welcome to TW I have the same truck love the color. In my area everything runs through SE Toyota and they had a XSP package of which I got. This added all the emblems blackout, predator steps and XD rims. Makes the truck rally look aggressive.

    I’m on Oahu... I think the Tacoma’s outnumber any other car/truck on the island... There’s SO many. But my ‘98 has served me well and is still going strong, so I’m hoping this one will do the same for the next 20 years as well!

    Yeah, I want to do the same thing as far as blacking out the chrome badges. Already took off the TRD bed stickers. Looks so much better (to me).

    Other than getting it tinted 35% ceramic on the front 2 windows, 5% on the back windows, and 90% on the entire windshield, I did my first mod today! Changed out the yellow halogen fog lights for some LED’s. Only $25 (free shipping with Amazon Prime)! 15-20 minutes and like it way better!

    Ordered some N-Fab Epyx Cab length steps on amazon too (free shipping) as well, should get here next week...

    And I will definitely replace the grill with one from BAMF or DBcustomz...

    Yeah, I read that whole thread the other night. Not gonna do LED’s in my headlights... gonna maybe buy some aftermarket smoke lens ones that are made for LED’s... saw a few online. Just did the fog lights, to get my feet wet on this modding business, lol.

    I do want to get @mesojdm’s Total Tail Stage 2’s for sure though, as well as a bunch of other stuff he has! He has some really great products!
