Not sure depends how much they cost and how hard they are to remove. The video I saw looked like they were semi-rigid lines so that may make them more expensive.

Anyone In Sac area coming up to Reno within the next few weeks? If so I would pay that someone 50$ to pickup a part for me in Rancho Cordova and bring it to Reno.

Clean truck but no crossover steering? Huge blocks in the rear huge body lift? (Probably to clear that motor and trans) Not street legal and no armor. Front sway bar is still connected o_O

Half what he is asking will get a much better built truck although probably not as clean.

I also know people who have swapped chevy motors and are smog legal.

*i also might be a little sensitive because I sold my truck.

I think the intent was to make it street legal. I know he had several go arounds with the smog people before deciding to go the OHV route. idk what they wanted, etc. Just that the referee kept saying no.

As far as design decisions? No idea.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Awesome day of wrenching today! MAJOR thanks to: @FirstTimeFirstGen (for driving all the way from Sac to help) @Blue Canary @CalTacoma09 @duncnasty @Pella And @foxrcing07 and @BartMaster1234 (for the valuable phone a friend support) You guys are fricken heros! Got the rear main seal replaced. Flex plate torqued... (I would highly recommend cleaning the old thread locking compound on the flex plate bolts, then re-apply red lock tite) Before After We swapped the black dooma-wiget from my old trans on to the new one. Got the trans in. Torque converter bolts torqued to spec. Starter re-installed and torqued. We also modified the Tcase by cutting an ear off under the shifter (the ear was where the arrow is pointing) Had to crack the case open. We needed to get to this part right here. There is a pill shaped detent that needs to be removed, that looks like this. Modifications to the Tcase were to allow this to work. And we also replaced the 4 bushings on the shifter (from @Brice). Cut the hole for the Tcase shifter, and replaced the bulb with a blue LED from @csjumper2003

I have a 1923 colt huntsman that I have never fired. I was my fathers bought from a pawn shop back in the day when the police ground off the serial numbers and put the gun back into the hands of the public. I realize that this makes it quite illegal today but I still want to keep it and fire it at least once. so anybody in the Sonora area wanna go pew pew?

^^ That. Said he was "going a different direction." Asking $1400.

Edit: The thread was getting ugly. Jason popped in. Shortly after that, it disappeared.
