haha, i think the mesh/textile is the style i have now. but for some stupid reason i bought black. in fl. haha. mostly though i dont wear it when i ride to and from work. only on joy rides where i might be out longer or on the freeway. otherwise its a long sleeve (have to for military policy) with the sleeves up. but thats also city driving so like 40 max.

The jacket i have did well in my last wreck. (ive had 2). i slid about 20ish feet hru downtown seattle on my side. jacket was fine, matching pants barely got a knick in the knee and ground the steel toe a little bit. going prob 25ish when i hit te ground

 

I slid down the road from a dirt bike wreck when I was 21. I lucked out and only have a small scar on my knee.

 

Mine was quite similar but as an added twist it involved cactus. Have to leave it at that.

 

I was going into a right hand sweeper. The bike started to slide and then a knobby caught. I high sided and landed on my forehead. It knocked me out, I flipped over and slid on my back of the side of the road. 3 fucking people passed me once I woke up and was trying to get back on the bike and ride it back to the lake house. Last dude stopped and threw it in his truck and took me home.

I deserved it. I was drunk and being a jackass. All I had on was my swimsuit

 

wow. i gringed just looking at that. and yet i still do some stupid stuff. But i did notice i was more a defensive driver while on the bike then in the car. kind of had to be in KW since idiots never look before turning.
