Removed the whole grill and then removed the bezel from the grill. There are some great YouTube videos with step by step removal process and tools needed. Be careful with the plastic tabs because they can get brittle and disconnect the TSS sensor if you have one. Then used rust-oleum’s version of Plasti Dip to paint the bezel gloss black. All in all cost me $10.99 and took about and hour and a half.

I've had them for over a year. You have to make sure you buy the Gorilla brand. They are pricey but are of quality. Most folk skimp out and buy cheap $20 sets on ebay or Amazon and then have problems with them.

I'm not sure what tires and wheels you plan to have. I have these spacers olong with 4Runner Pro wheels and 285/70/17 nitto ridge grapplers and I spent a good 6 months cutting, CMCing, and trimming to prevent rubbing. I aboslutely love the stance but the spacers do exacerbate the rubbing when running large tires with certain wheels.

I also think / assume it helps the engine heat up in cold weather

Having second thoughts about the 255/75r17 tires I have on order. Afraid they are going to look too small on my lifted truck. Should I change the order and get 285/70r17?

Maybe go with 255/80r17?? What lift do you have?

That's the size I currently have, Icon stage 4. There isn't a big difference when comparing the specs(besides width), but I have a feeling actually seeing them on the truck there will be a significant difference. I initially wanted to go down to the 255/75 for better tire selection/lighter weight but thinking about just saying F-it and go with the bigger tire and regear in the next couple months.

I’m running 285/75/16 and have zero regrets.

Yeah, I think I'm talking myself into the 285's. Just need to find one I like that doesn't weigh 60lbs+.

I started to buy chrome lug nuts from Gorilla. If this cheap set of Venum lug nuts I bought on Ebay start to rust I'll spend the extra money for a set of chrome Gorilla's. Thanks for the heads up!

I am having my grill painted black and was going to leave the Toyota emblem alone. It will look very similar to what you have there. I like it. Glad you posted the pic!:)

This one was a proof of concept model. I’ve ordered bolts and hardware to put 6 bolts on each. It’s going to look better when I’m done. It would be super easy to change the color of the method badge and or other parts without any masking. I may do a write up if there’s more interest.
