I have no airbags in mine up there. Made the install a lot easier. I did pull the headliner down a little bit though to watch the rivnuts. Wanted to make sure they seated properly.

 

No I meant those standoffs. The DC use tiny 6mm bolts with those standoffs and the hole is like a 10mm or bigger so there is easily a lot of flex on that little bolt if you carry weight up there. I wasn't a fan. That and I got one of the first runs after CBI took over and there was some QC issues there still is because of being cheap.

 

i still think that might be the same with all the new ones lol, might make my own kit if it arrives like that.

 

I have no qualms with mine. It could certainly be made stronger, but it’s plenty strong as it is. If you load this thing to the point the racks integrity comes into play, you’re not gonna be able to safely drive down the road from sheer weight alone

met mike and his metal tech gx at the shop, these bumpers are spendy....that rear is 3k bare and the front is 2k...
