Since construction is officially starting today, here are the BEFORE photos of the mid-level of my house which is the kitchen/dining/living rooms.

Excuse the bad lighting, I took these really quickly before coming in to work this morning.

 

Going for new cabinets too?

 

everything new. the whole lot of it.

entire level will be open concept. here is a "rough" rendering of the kitchen, missing things like columns/fume hood etc.

oh excellent I'd love to see that. mine won't be anything just absolutely stunning, but it'll be nice. bought all of the appliances at Lowe's yesterday for President's Day sales and got an extra 10% off with a credit card.

 

did they bump the lowes credit card up to 10% for presidents day or are you talking about a different card?

I just wish they'd combine the CC and Military Discount together, because I'd have my uncle going with me every time to lowes lol

 

so the Lowe's card does 10% on your first purchase when you open the card, then 5% every other time. I don't think that's a President's day thing, just a first time purchase thing.

 

I'd have to make my kitchen bigger to do anything close to that, which could be done because my dining room is strangely huge.

I do like that though.

 

Also you guys wanting some pricing on samsung appliances COSTCO is doing 15% back on their kitchen suites and laundry combos.

yeah I wouldn't be going this route if we weren't blowing out that entire wall and making it all open concept. should feel like a massive room when finished.

 

So kitchen, dining, and living room will not have any walls. I’m interested in seeing this

thank you sir! it really is IDEAL for open concept that's for sure. I always assumed opening it up would like double the cost of the renovation, but it wasn't much more so we pulled the trigger. should look awfully different when I get home today.
