tranny is the same. the tc takes the place of the 2wd tail shaft.

youd also need the engine and tranny cpu. not worth the hassle imo. itd be at least 3grand to do. your truck plus 3 grand and youd be able to buy a 4x4

you can lt a 4x4 too. then youd have a rock crawler and a desert truck with a way to get unstuck in the deeper sand

i just upgraded my department store bike with Avid BB7 disc brakes. its heavy but its the only department store bike i could find with shimano trigger shifters instead of those shitty grip shifts and disc brakes with rst forks. i dont jump or anything crazy.

 

This is what I want. Too bad it's like $4,500

 

the most id ever pay is 1500. in that price range i really like the Specialized FSRxc comp.

Thats actaully one I was looking at. I really want an all mountain though. But Im probably going to buy a decent one for about 1200-2000 first. Use it for a while and if I need/want the big boy stuff I will upgrade. Hopefully next summer!

Which sucks because I can never get good.
But I have been to Brianhead once. Sunrise in Arizona. And mountain high. All together I've only been maybe 5 times ever. And thats over like 5 years. haha

 

I think JD, Roland, And I need to hangout more often. You guys partake in the same hobbies I do. Snowboarding, and I really want to get into mountain biking but damn its soo pricey.

whats the top speed on that thing? like 20MPH? LOL. Ive never ridden a dirt bike before, just quads, so maybe a 65 is a great starter. LOL

Well have to pick a day to hit the slopes, preferable on a weekday since weekends are annoyingly packed.

 

I used to play on a speedball team down here, Ill whoop your ass. LOL. You every play airsoft? Its better IMO

 

ha! the kx65 will do 55 with my 280# ass on it. its a nasty little bike!

i live like 3 miles from BB mountain now. we could hang here, grill some good food before/after riding the slopes.

 

Manny might even need a 50.

We definitely should do something soon. I like paintballing too but don't own anything. Only been twice.
