You should be able to download them through Flash Manager, however I attempted to download the 87 FOB tune and it seems to have downloaded fine but I can't flash it because I keep getting an error message, so what do I know.

I know there are almost 500 pages to scroll through here and I'm being lazy BUT...

Anybody who has done this already - Is this tune a significant difference-maker?

I get how this would be great for an automatic tranny but are the benefits really worth the cost for the manual transmissions?

I may look into this once the warranty is up on my truck but would love to get some opinions in the meantime.

this tune, with a correctly adjusted pedal mc, and the accumulator delete mod drastically. DRASTICALLY improved the shifting of this transmission. Dont wait for the warranty, you can always flash back to stock if you're super paranoid.

    Fuck yeah....

Also, this won't affect your warranty. It is 100% undetectable by the dealer.

Very significant difference especially with the 91/93 tune the truck feels light and lively with improved throttle response and low end torque 1st-3rd are simply amazing,I wouldn't be surprised to see 14 sec 1/4 mile times...

Whenever I try to flash the 87 FOB file that I just downloaded via the new flash manager i keep getting an error reading "There was a problem preparing selected file. Probably it's corrupted or has unsupported format." Any suggestions? This happens in Toyflash after I select the file to be flashed.

Anybody have insight into how the 87 tune performs compared to stock? I've lived the 93 life before in other vehicles and I don't know if I'm willing to go back to that... fuel is pricey enough with a Taco as it is haha

The 87 tunes are far better than stock. I only run the 87 tune because I never know what octane fuel will be available where I'm traveling. It's OK to put in 93 while running the 87 tune, but not vice versa.

It all comes down to your opinion of the stock tune. If you're happy with your truck, don't bother with the tune, but as you can tell.... it can be better. ;)

are you selecting no in the first box marked "dongle" when downloading? Also are you entering the p5flash utility through the tuning drop down in flash manager?
