I'm 04B02 and still getting download error when trying to download any Performance or Shift-Lock tune.
I guess this means they're not yet available?

 

Has anyone done a 0-60 with any version of the performance tune??

Seems like Mat is putting out a lot of fires right now so i would assume it may be a little while. I'm perfectly content just running the basic tunes for now and happy with what i have, still better then the stock tune!

 

Yeah, I will probably wait weeks before installing any update anyway. But what concerns me is that sometimes the tune files are made available, and then all of a sudden they're not. So if you miss getting them when the opportunity presents itself you may have to email Mat to get them. And yesterday he mentioned something about taking off through the end of the month. I just want to make sure that if I can't download the files it's because they're not available yet, not because there's YAE on my end.

All files that are available in Flash Manager right now will always be, the 02/03/A60/A61 will be available before end of month for sure.

 

I would love to live where there are not very many hills

 

Can anyone say if the tip in is the same in all the new files from yesterday?

 

Wow! New p+gl 93 tune is like woah! I only have a few miles on it but the change is noticeable immediately... Going to give it all a good test this weekend out wheeling with the squad. With 4.88's and 34's, i have a feeling that 4wd in low with the rear locker on is gonna be a ridiculous combo!

 

Make sure if you upshift at high rpm to let off the gas pedal when locked up

Do you ever forsee changing it so that you don't need to let off the gas to shift when using the gear lock on an AT? It will definitely take a little getting used to letting off the throttle on an AT vehicle to get it to shift. Fun stuff though.

You actually dont have to let off completely, just let off somewhat, anything under 100% accel is ok.

 

I flashed 93 performance before leaving work... I made it 6 miles home and flashed base lol.

Performance with a stock truck is seriously responsive, the big wheels/tires guys will love it, I can't handle that much of a push back every time I take off from lights lol.

This isn't criticism, he made is clear that it would help the big tire guys.

 

I have the Dongle and have been using it so I only installed Flash Manager. Looks like it installed and I now have a new icon on desktop. "Toyota Flash Manager 1..." When I select it I get and error'

The application was unable to start correctly(0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.

Thanks I finally got it loaded, but when i try to open it the message is "The app can't run on your PC, to find a version for your PC check with software publisher".

 

I know that I read this somewhere in the past 40 or so pages, but can I use FOB with my AT?

 

I have the same issue. I finally decided that I needed a new computer as the one I was using has no room for updates or any additional content without running into more headaches. I loaded flash manager on the new computer in about 30 seconds without issue. Just waiting on @OVTune for a new rigistry key.
