    cool deal. add that to the list. I gotta measure my current setup but im pretty sure im closeish to that. Just looking to go a full leaf pack to get rid of the stock noodle pack that has a single 2in AAL in it but not looking to raise the ass end much more.

    Get the heavy. I got the mediuns and after they break in they are not as strong as I wanted... Plus the heavy will really reduce axle wrap more I presume

    The best thing about the Dakars is the articulation/ease of droop you get in the back. Going up a washboard road in 2wd, I can feel how the rear tires stay in contact with the road. Less wheel spin..

    I guess the weight of my canopy helps keeps the tires down too, but when I had the stock pack with an icon aal it really hopped over the washboards.

    This is good advice. You can also remove one of the overload leaves or the middle leaf (or both, that's what I did) and add leaves back in after the pack settles.

    After about one year I added the middle leaf back in.

    You may also wanna ask people to state if the have a long bed, short bed and what cab size cause it changes weight held up by the rear suspension

    im a DCSB, and unloaded 99% of the time. Every now and then ill tow a jetski / motorcycle trailer and a bed full of gear. But with the stock pack and AAL it doesnt squat much, dakar mediums are undoubtedly better than the stock + AAL

    I have the 95Rs on my ‘10 dclb sport, I don’t have measurements currently but I will say I got atleast 2-2.5” of Lift, they are a little stiff for my liking for daily driving but when you put a bunch of weight in the back or are towing a boat or trailer, is when these leafs really shine. Absolutely amazing.

    After 5 months unloaded, both springs rated “0”
    Driver side = 24”
    Passenger = 24”

    Not a stupid question at all. I think it's one of those "gray areas" where it would probably be okay with stock length but you should probably get the extended. I recently put these on my truck and got the extended Bilstein 5160's. I did not change the brake lines and the stock ones are fine.

    So lift height is the same for AAL and full Dakar but the longer shocks and brake lines is for the greater 'flex' you get with a full pack?

    Dont forget though that there needs to be a spacer installed on the driver side brake line bracket. this spacer is included with the 5160 shock. I also have this setup (Dakar medium) and have 24" driver side and 24.25" passenger side fender to hub. Double cab short bed with a plastic tonneau cover (~30-40 lbs).

    Thanks for the measurements. Curious what they would be.
