Anyone kno if Tacoma’s accept any versions of the stant gas cap? I traded in a Ford for my Tacoma and the ONLY thing I miss is the instant gas cap that you don’t have to remove, simply stick gas nozzle thru it. I see Tacoma has the gasshole brand holder to hold the cap but I’d prefer to not even remove it if possible

Is it really that difficult to twist the cap off?

Difficult?...no, never said it was difficult. However if you’ve ever used a stant cap it’s very quick, clean and convienient!

From personal experience and from experience working as a tech we only have had many many issues with aftermarket caps such as stant stick with OEM and just twist it off as the truck was intended it to be

I have that capless fill on my Mustang, its sweet, wish it was on the Tacoma. No, I'm not lazy, it works very well. But I dont want to have to replace it if it ever fails...Looks like I'd have to replace the entire fill assembly.

I like stock...gas cap included...even if a slight misalignment of after market.....will throw an error!
