ouch. that hurts a little. youd think after spending 35k on a truck it would be great off the lot. mind you, i dont really have any complaints out of it, but if i can get extra HP (avg 30ish on 93 oct and 6800 rpm) its worth it for me. Esp since once they get the turbo finished i would need to tune anyways. cuz come on, who doesnt want a turbo in their truck.

 

I'm honestly not trying to hate on them but it's just something they should have fixed before it was released. It's ridiculous buyers of a $35k truck have to spend $700 to fix shit that should have been done before release. I understand why they are doing it, because of the bs regulations with fuel mileage but other manufacturers have figured it out why the hell can't they? The idea of putting a high reving motor in a truck that should have low end torque (doesn't build that torque in the lower rpm's) is kinda dumb and then mapping the trans for the economy is just strange. Trucks pull things and to pull you need torque off the line.

because you can always make it run better (aka faster ) and thats also why its not quite at the top of list for me to get yet. id rather armor first i think. im like @gixxerphil and got to many things i want to buy just not enough mario coins.

 

Maybe its jut me, but I'm not doing shit to a $40k vehicle until its out of warranty and all paid off.
