I have no issue with what the Jerries did. For profit. Not for profit. Prices reduced. Prices marked up.

When people get banned simply for disagreeing with the fan boy mob? That’s a problem.

Last thing I’ll say on the subject here. I’m homestly getting bored with the back and forth.

After, I will leave and you can all pretend you scared me away.

The only acid I’m slinging is towards out of control mods banning people for having an opinion other than their own. Also, the fan boys who think it’s fine because they’re on the same side.

I never said that I agree with Jon’s opinion. I only say that he has a right to it.

 

If this was a free speech site then that might work. This is a privately owned site, kinda like your house.... you wouldn't want people talking shit about your family or perceived family.... you would throw them out, right?

 

In another way, he wouldn't be happy if he spent time and money to help, let's say, a homeless person (i.e. doing a good deed) and people told him that he was only doing it for profit or to improve his reputation. That's what Jon was attacking. Jon has a Constitutional right to free speech. He doesn't have a Constitutional right to have people agree with him 100% OR to even speak his opinion.

 

I understand... I never said it was right or wrong or if I agreed or disagreed.
Just stating what I know on the matter.. mood always plays a role in the length of ban. It's not my place to say if it was right or wrong.

I've lived in Jersey for 4 months and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, except for ISIS. To ban someone for being from Jersey is crazy. If anything, it's a cry for help.

Its a private site, he has no right to anything. If ownership via moderators has decided they no longer wish to have him as a part of the community, then he's gone. If Jon wanted to stay a part of the community, then getting into a fight with a moderator that just was a part of a $130k purchase with a site sponsor probably wasn't a great idea. Especially when you get reply banned and then keep carrying on in other threads calling the mod dumb names. Like what did he expect to happen when he kept poking...?

I don't agree with Jason on many things but I'm not dumb enough to seek out his activity and start bashing him and then be surprised when I'm banned. Those that were around during the 4runnerrick days on Pirate will find this a bit similar.

 

Never been. Closest I’ve gotten to it is Delaware and that was good haha.

 

At least the weather will be nice for unloading the next few days.
