You should go to UPS and get a UPS badge sticker and apply it to your vehicle...sort of like when fighter pilots used to paint an enemy flag on the fuselage to signify a "kill". 5 kills and you're considered an "ace".

Most of my badges are that of cats. I'm a "triple-ace".

Jesus man:eek::eek: glad your all right:), sorry about your rig:(:(. The important thing is that everyone walked away alright. However, this just goes to show that although our trucks may not be meteor proof, or be able to fight off the loch ness monster, the can take one hell of a beating and come back for more:cool::cool:.

Not my Tacoma, but here's what I did to my wife's '97 Altima a week after Ike. My fault, got T-Boned by a F-150 jacked up quad cab with a brush guard on the front - only injury was my sternum is inflamed due to the seat belt jacking tight (even in a sideways collision!) The side bars (which are actually hollow tubes with only about a 1/8" thickness!) did their job - not even a scratch! Thank goodness no one or thing in the passenger side!

Still waiting to hear back from my insurance adjuster. She just received the claim yesterday at 3pm pacific time. I have never been in a wreck in my life or a ticket. Pretty good for 40! I don't know if anyone has delt with progressive before? If so, let me know!

Glad to hear you're ok man. HOpefully they'll total that out for ya' and you can go get you a new one. I've had to work with Progressive before and didn't have any problems with them. They had my wifes car in the shop about 3 days or so after the accident and repaired no problem. Nothing as severe as yours though. Good luck.

No, she pulled over to the curb after it happened. She would not even approach me. About an hour after the wreck, her daughter was trying to sneak by after taking a picture and she turns to me and said, "Life sucks huh?"....I about went off on her but 2 of LAPD's finest were right next to me!
