No I haven't, I am thinking of seeing if I can drop the light bar down to the bumper rather then the center hoop.

 

Finished updating the lighting to red LEDs.



I’m in the process of redoing my center console. Cleaned it and ditched the current organizer which was nothing.

Usually just lay my gun in there but I’ve been on a kick of tying to maximize space so adding a holster seemed like a good idea. Just used a generics nylon holster and mounted it to the console using the spring clip.







Holds my M&P 9c perfect. Yes. My CC lives in my console when it’s not on me. Yes. It stays locked up.


I ordered one of the 10$ Amazon organizers to add to the console to clean the rest of the shit up.

 

Why didn't you just get one that fit the already made light bar cut out in the bumper?

Oh, I've seen people stuff lights in there but its a vent hole... I think and I think there are some slats inside it so one would have to cut the slats out or cut into the light bar.

 

got excited working in a heated garage and next thing you know...
cleaned up my switch install by replacing/relocating some of the OEM switches and consolidating the OTRATTW switches (and getting a little aggressive with the utility knife...):



added usb ports/12v socket to rear of center console:


added usb ports/voltage display to interior of center console:


added a RAM mount to the side of the trim adjacent to the fan control:


used this $12.49 part from Amazon along with a stainless M8 button head cap screw (forgot the length) and a nylock nut on the back side of the plastic trim piece (when installed and tightened, it's solid and doesn't move/rotate, obviously could be snapped if you really grabbed it, but no way if you are any type of normal...

just be careful where you drill... the first hole that I drilled was too close to the climate control module and when the RAM mount was installed, there wasn't enough clearance to reinstall the climate control module...

I mounted a ram ball in that black corner right above where your 4 wheel drive switch is. It has worked great so far.

How did you affix the spring clip to the console? Cut a slot and slip it in?

 

Very clean setup! Im assuming that manual trans dont have the downhill assist? If I had a spare slot in that cluster I would mount my ML-ACR switch in the same exact place as you did. Currently still figuring out where I want it..

Also, what dual battery monitor is that? I like how compact it is.

 

Just installed these oem style fog lights on my reg cab 4x4 and painted them JdM yellow.

 

Directly from the owners manual:
Maintenance required reminder light Indicates that maintenance is required according to the driven distance on the maintenance schedule.*2

Illuminates for about 3 seconds and then flashes for about 15 seconds approximately 4500 miles (7200 km) after the maintenance data has been reset.

Comes on and remains on if the distance driven exceeds 5000 miles (8000 km) after the maintenance data has been reset. (The indicator will not work properly unless the maintenance data has been reset.)


I was at almost 6k miles and no flashing at all. The only thing I can think of is the truck was sent to Canada for a period of ownership. Maybe the light is waiting for the counter to hit the KM readings of 7200k and 8k? Everything on the truck has been switched back to miles instead of kilometers.
