Glad to hear that, and I ho[e they find a good replacement. Us old folks aren't always as easy to get rid of as they think!

You're right. The least I can do is share my trademarked techniques, so that others may follow in my tracks :D

Step one: Don't put your tire there, for starters
Step two: Might as well commit now, I guess?
Step three: Ignore the 48-degree angle you're at, you're fine until you aren't
Step four: Embrace the fact that the ground will catch you, soon.

    :burnrubber:

Have fun and be safe, all!

Oooo I remember the blizzard of '78... was young but I remember they ran out places to put the snow, trying to clear the roads and drifts up the roofs of houses.

Me and my brother slid down the roof onto on...

Yeah... those were "Kodak Moments". Too bad I don't have them digital. In 78, I worked sound at a club, and lived in a house in the parking lot.
It went on a LOOONG time. Day 1 was a snow storm. Day 2, no one moved any more, and I opened the front door to a wall of snow.. could not get out! Day 3, no one has even plowed US31! I went out and made a path to nowhere from the front door to the parking lot. It was a solid wall over my head, and up to the roof as you went to the door. Day 4. The band that should be playing was sick of their cheap hotel, can they walk up and at least practice? Owner called, said he got the guy plowing Kmart across the street to come and do our lot! Told the band sure, if they can make it up 31, which was still not open except to snowmobiles. They made it and practiced a LONNG time. Cabin fever. Day 5 We get a random call from someone just needing to talk to someone, because he can't get out. So we talk. Day 6 US31 is finally plowed, Al wants to open the bar, the band is happy. We know the State Police from down the road, and they tell us they are not advising travel. We invite them to the bar. Band and sound man work a few sets for the State Police. We are all happy. A few people do show up, because they didn't care how hard it was, they needed to find an open bar. They were a little freaked by the Police. But only for a while. Day 7, all the news is in Buffalo NY, because you can now travel most of lower Michigan without snowmobile. So a week later, back to "just a normal winter". I really do have Kodak, and someday I will find them. Thanks for reminding me of all that fun,
