I’ll grab a pic for you tomorrow. It tucks up fairly close to the tailgate for better departure angle and it does recess at the license plate.

I literally took my second gen rear bumper, slapped it on, and designed off that to work with the third gen :notsure:

So in theory, one could “slap on” one of your third gen HC bumpers on a second gen and trim around it?

    :spy:

Are the rear frame mounts that close (or identical)?

I am pretty sure they are identical.

They are identical. The frame width is exactly the same too.
I don’t know if this would work on a second gen though... As soon as I get my order list cleared up I’ll be doing this for second gens finally. I’ve been wanting one on my own truck for a long time!

Hooooly smokes the HC rear looks nice! I also can’t help but see a lil smiley face between the sensor circles and hi lift triangles hahaha

I’m watching that thread as well, Morgan. I’m between you and building one myself. I like your design and I’m lazy so leaning heavily in your direction.

Negative, that is an integrated receiver with the bumper. It will be available as either a standard ‘below the plate’ receiver as shown, or hidden behind the plate and include a flip up license plate bracket.

@At The Helm what's that rear using for license lamps, stock lenses? I can't really tell from just the blanks in the picture

Would you make these without the cut outs for the lights and high lift? Price point? This is looking like a great alternative to what's out there already.

Kinda defeats the purpose of a high lift rear bumper if the hitch is still in the same location. Need to relocated behind the license plate.

Its way higher than the stock location.

Edit: well I don't know about "way", but it is higher haha

It’ll come with replacement led lamps. The stock ones were too awkward to mount to the bumper.
I can give you bolt on blanks for the light cutouts. The hi-lift holes will come on all bumpers.

The receiver will be available in both hidden and below the plate as shown. For some people, having the receiver more accessible below the plate outweighs the pros of having it tucked up higher.

    That is correct!

Looks good. If I seen this before I would’ve considered it since you’re semi local also.
