Pg&e is not a public utility, they are on the nyse... And property values are not high because of costal location... Atherton doesn't touch the coast. #fakenews

Ok, power and utility provider. And atherton is close enough to be considered a coastal location. It’s in the Bay Area.

I knew I had heard of this place!

Yeah the police blotter for some of the cities on the peninsula are hilarious. None the less property values are primarily based on the proximity to high paying jobs, ocean is a bonus. And I actually hope CA buys pge out of bankruptcy and turns it into a public utility that doesn't blow up neighborhoods or starts wild fires.

No argument here. Scenery is fantastic, but the way things are going make you want to :frusty:.

We need to keep Montana and give California to Mexico instead. Then include all the Californians for free. It would be like a two for one deal.

Driving through California and Montana on different holidays met lots of good people, great scenery.
Right now I'd be up for us buying a tropical island somewhere, if we are buying property lets get something warm with no snow!
