    Not really, about 185.

All time bests were only 330/425/545 that’s bench/squat/DL.

I got a workout holding this thing together building it lol

Also note I went on hiatus from working out for probably 10 months or so.

I repped 315 once when I was in the Army over 20 years ago. I bet I couldn't do 135 right now!

Sooo, what all is being done at this Huntsville meetup? Any engine swaps, tranny rebuilds or anything? I'd like to change my grill over, which I may do myself when it comes it. Does anyone know how to check AT fluid on 3rd gens? I've read here that some come with low AT fluid and I'd love to check it but don't know how.

I’ve been wanting to get back into it for a while

Those are bumper plates. I plan on doing about 1.5” plywood with .75” stall mats on each side like a deadlift platform. It would be a total of 2.25” protecting tile.

Oh gotcha. I thought those were tires in the picture.

Most folks I know that run power racks at home only roll full metal plate sets. My fault for assuming.

Well the bumpers are basically new and were given to me, I understand why most people use cheaper metal. Bumpers are about twice as much.

The rack and bench I bought new bc every thing used I found wasn’t a full rack only half racks. Plus most benches I found didn’t support 800lbs only 500lbs. Given I bet most all benches can handle over 1000lbs bc no one wants to get sued.

The dumbbells were 960 + tax on Amazon I found someone local in Hoover selling for 300. I couldn’t pass it up for 5-50 in 5lbs increments.

Sounds like a nice setup. Way more than I would ever use haha.

Oly bar, ~200lbs of bumper plates, pull up bar, wooden rings, a few misc dumbbells/kettlebells, concept 2 rower, homemade parrellettes and box, stall mats. Done.

There’s more I want, but this setup gets the job done for me for now.

I want to at least get to 315 lbs on a home gym set up for squats and dead’s. I feel like that’s enough for a home gym to stay bigger than most. I’m probably not gonna get back into Max’s, but you never know it could happen. This probably keeps me off gold gyms 40 a month for life though lol.

I am already wanting some rubber covered heavier dumbbells though. I’d be happy with 5 more sets 60-100 10lbs increments. Those dumbbells get crazy expensive though.

Haha I can’t even remember the last time I stepped foot in a regular gym.

My wife and I drank the crxfit kookaid for a few years. Then we started having kids and needed to cut back on some spending. Even after buying all our garage gym outfit, we’ve saved tons by not paying monthly memberships.

I usually get my rubber dumbbells from academy. There are the fanciest, but have served me well.

The clown mask didn’t come out very often. Generally it was the horse mask. There were quite a few good laughs from them thou.
