Almost bought some pork belly to do some burnt ends while at Costco but wasn’t going to have time to make them today so it’ll have to wait

On a serious note I’ve really considered getting a slicing glove. Back in the day when I worked at a banquet hall I got the webbing between my thumb and index finger. Was slicing peppers someone distracted me and boom right through it. Knife was ultra sharp so it was clean. Wasn’t my best of moments.

Pitfaced pork chops with Pitfaced Mac and cheese, both from the smoker!

Many thanks to @bvbull200 and @Bigdaddy4760 for replenishing my supply of rub!

The second plate was MUCH more attractive. I put the pork on the chips, cheese atop that, nuked for 2.5 minutes, and then topped with avocado, salsa, and sour cream, with a heavy couple splashes of Valentina picante.

Edit- jalapenos. Damnit, I forgot jalapenos...and I have 2 huge jars of them!

Absolutely delicious. I have never been huge into pulled pork. I never realized it was so flexible.

Do you have a toaster oven? Nachos come out wayyy better than in the microwave in my opinion. Or even just in the regular oven but it's kind of a waster for a few minutes of heat

I already pulled one of the vac-packs out of the freezer, should be thawed by tonight (if not I'll use the hot water trick). I will definitely add a little splash of BBQ sauce to it

I do not. But I was eyeing my propane torch. We used to do that at a buddy's shop- get the fixings out of the kitchen and then toast them with a few blasts of propane flame. Easy and awesome.

Propane and propane accessories....I tell ya hwhat.....

EDIT because my phone is freaking retarded...

You laugh, but I'm considering buying one of these. It's just a matter of time til I cut myself, and they would be awesome for oysters.
