Looks great. If you don’t mind me asking, what did you spend? I’m a newbie to lifts and won’t ever be doing any real off roading so I want it purely for looks and don’t want to spend thousands.

Got my new rack installed this weekend. I went with the RCI rack for the RTT/equipment mounting with some KB Voodoo bars under it for my surfboards.20190219_100034.jpg

I went with the Falcon Setup, could not be happier and have some room to grow on settings up front. But the best part of the Falcon setup is the adjustable settings on the rear allowing for heavier load settings with the turn of a switch. I went with the 1.25" rear and level (+2.5) front. Really Happy with the setup! Studied for months on what to go with, without breaking bank. Huge amount of options out there, and OME was definitely top of my list for a long time. Have ARB compressor, Fridge, etc, cannot beat their quality.

Take a read through these threads. It is actually possible to go wrong, especially with LEDs.

Yes. The weight doesn't help with the already anemic performance of the 3.5 motor.
I was considering regearing until I installed OVTune's 1.05 tune and that made a world of difference.
I may still regear but I no longer feel it is a must.
    Enjoy!

Very nice....did you paint the grill bezel yourself, or was it an off-the-shelf item?

Finally received and installed my CaliRaised LED bumper bar.

    My thoughts:

    1. The bar (combo beam) is beefy and definitely feels worthy of the price.
    2. This thing is BRIGHT AF!!!
    3. The instructions leave a lot to be desired. There’s no paper instructions and the video doesn’t say which bolts go in which parts. Which leads to:
    4. The bolts for the bar use the supplied Allen wrench. The bolts that are used in the upper bracket use a different size. Something that I figured out after twenty minutes of trying to contort my wrist to hold it while I used the socket to hold the hit (yes I flipped the direction).
    5. I bought the OEM switch option. Works great! But it doesn’t glow blue like the dash. Only glows orange-y red when activated. I’ll probably swap it for another.
    6. Don’t ever take on this project when it’s 20° outside. It friggin sucks. Froze my balls off.
    7. It’s not a REAL project unless it draws blood. Took some skin off my knuckle breaking a bolt loose. Bled all over core support and bumper. Added twenty minutes to project time for triage and hemosratic agent application. :jerkoff:
    8. Still seems the best and cleanest light bar install on the market. Plus it’s secure and don’t have to worry about lightbar bandits.

Running a different tire pressure is simply another mod we do to our Tacos. :D

Unfortunately I never did measure it. In the picture I was on a slight incline so may be deceiving from picture. It does look pretty close to level though. I did leave the overload leaf in, I figured better to have and not need.

Bought some yellow LED fog lights on Amazon the other day. Pretty happy with them so far as far as performance goes...plus they do kind look cool

It is the SR/5 grill bezel. It took about 10 minutes to change. I have the chrome ring if someone needs one.

If you are inquiring to someone about something they did, go to that person's post, and on the lower right corner, click on "quote". It'll bring their post up, and then you just write in your comment or question in the box. This also sends that person an email to the account they registered it to and then they can go directly to your post on that forum. Don't backspace over the person's quote or anything, just start writing.

Welcome to TW btw. You'll figure it out the more you hang around. :D

Well Iam currently a college student (worked as a diesel mechanic for 5 years for a dick head supervisor and decided to go back to school to get a better job) so budget is low and my off roading is light about 2-4 times a year. Debated for a while to do spacer kit, old man emu, or just say fuck it and go balls deep with a 6 inch which would drain my bank account and I would not be able to afford the install for a bit. I finally decided just go with spacers for now as I plan to change up the suspension in the future (straight front axel possibly way down the road) in all I spent 115$ on the front and back spacer and 16$ for the diff and skid plate spacer... did the install by myself (no air tools) and I put about 200 miles on it and it feels great.. no real change except the ride is a tiny bit stiffer and a slight vibration and certain rpm and road speeds.. I plan to do the carrier bearing drop this week and I’ve heard that solves the vibration.. now my truck is a 4 cyl standard so I chose the shift boings and it’s a smaller motor so not sure what types of vibrations or whatever the V6 has. All in all I love the look, love the height, ride is similar to stock and kinda don’t know why I waited so long to do it.
