@presto just a heads up that I wasn't aware of when I changed my timing belt kit. I've been told by many here on the TW forum to change the fan bearing. It can go at any time without warning. search TW and you'll se it can cause some serious damage. I'm just waiting on warmer weather before I start doing some more work on my 2003.

 

It's probably way too far gone, but does anyone remember the guy that tan bedlined his 5 lug ext cab? Got some questions for him

Not really. Couldn't find the leak in the radiator. So just looks like a dirty radiator with a clean spot.

 

I have been considering it to clear 33s, because I am not about to invest money into lifting the IFS. I am going SAS, but not in the next two years. I need tires soon, so want to run 33s, without a lift. 1" body lift seems like it ought to work.

 

You need a couple of pipe test plugs and a garden hose adapter.. Pressure check the system yourself. I bet Amazon has everything you need (you just need to get the ID off the hose outlets). I don't have my radiator handy or I could get them for you.

I measured the backspacing on my 15X8 wheels- came up with 3.75" BS. Does this sound about right?

 

Sounds to me like you'd have been fine with just putting some Copperseal in the radiator and letting it fix it. For leaks like that, it's a permanent repair.

a 255/70/15 is a 29" tire. This isn't helpful as my stock tires are 31X10.5X15.

So, haven't done this, but need to, BAD- as I have a serious brake fluid leak...

need to do the LSPV delete mod. I know I have to add a manual PV inline to the rears, that is not a problem. What I need to know, is the size of adapters and Ls needed to remove and replumb around the old LSPV.

Why remove it, you ask? Because I intend to go with Air over leaf in the rear, if not link-arm. This will defeat the entire purpose of the LSPV as added air pressure to bring the tail up under load will fool the LSPV into thinking the bed is empty.

Anyone got a line on the parts/adapters needed? I have the manual PV selected at Summit already....
