    Hey all,

Has anyone in the south bay area had a shop install the ECGS bushing for them, that they'd recommend? I think I need it done on mine, and I don't have a space where I can do it myself.

    Thanks!

I can confirm he has the tool and shop to get this done, but he isn't cheap. His work is amazing though. I haven't gotten it done because it isn't a problem for me yet but he did give me an estimate. He's worked on my truck twice already and it's always been super positive.

That’s great to hear. There are diy’s on TW and a few local South Bay/ east bay members do have the tool. I’m sure once the weather clears, it can be done in a mod day.

I don’t know what you consider to be expensive, but I consider milos price extremely fair and his work to be extremely good. He’s done work for me at a lower price point than any shop in the the South Bay Area and with far better quality.

Yes I agree, he is fair and he’s worked on my truck twice already. Both times he did excellent work. The quote for the bushing replacement seemed a little high to me but I wouldn’t mind paying him because he’s the only person I trust with my truck. He’s 60+ miles away from me too.

Over GVWR and I keep adding more metal
What makes you think (or know) it's the bushing? I've got a lot of play on my drivers axle shaft (in 2wd, goes away in 4wd). I also have a thunk under there but it is consistent in 4wd and 2wd.

Hoping it's not ECGS, but still need to diagnose all the other potential culprits. Sorry if hi jacked

I started getting a cyclical humming/vibration around 30-40 mph after a slight lift ~1", goes away in 4WD. Classic needle bearing symptoms, from the sound of it. It's not too loud at the moment, but figured I should start looking into options.
