    Not closed and no tickets at the moment. All side access is property owned by the Irvine Water District since the fire that rolled through, at the moment. No off road allowed, and blocked from access with large boulders/concrete barriers, but a pretty smooth drive to the entrance to the old hiking trails. Went tonight, in front of 2 CHP parked at the entrance which questioned me on my activities (no problems just wanted to make sure I knew off road was illegal), but you can definitely drive through it no problem. Last week the first creek crossing got washed out, closed the trail, but it's been filled with dirt.

    Not worth traveling to, but it's a nice break from asphalt driving if you are in the area.
