What about the blinker fluid reservoir? we always checked those at the quickJlube back in the late 80s

    Either or.

Harness are pre-made, regardless of they come equipped or not. It's either it had factory cruise control, unit went bad, po didn't want to diagnosis and was cheaper to install an aftermarket unit? Or didn't come with it and po want cruise control and had an aftermarket unit installed?

    One or the other, lol

This seems to be the same exact issue with my 2000. I recently had my valve cover gaskets replaced and the mechanic called me to tell me that the cruise control cable had broken as it was brittle. After looking at it and investigating it I found that this was an aftermarket Rostra unit installed by the dealer. No parts are available. I took off the brackets (One big one on the psgr fender apron and the other long one on the intake) and it now looks just like yours. Now I realize why no one else had the issues I had in accessing the MAF screws....the bracket for the CC was covering the bottom one! I had thought this was factory. I can take a pic if you like.

No, the blinker fluid on Tacomas is housed with the turn signal assemblies.

When I got a low profile bumper, I got a reservoir out of an older Tacoma. I have to clearance the bracket for the ABS slightly, but it was a pretty easy install. I drilled a hole in the bottom so I could keep the stock pump/low fluid sensor.

I may do this. My washer fluid reservoir is all cracked and busted.

So was mine. The duct tape "fixed" it for a number of years. I think the reservoir was like $30 on Amazon.

That is very aftermarket. The factory cruise control system would have a stalk on the steering wheel itself that turns with the wheel. The stock one is also much smaller.

Do you notice you have a vaccum hose disconnected from you’re intake plenum to the plastic resonator box, I know it’s off topic but you want to connect it.

I sure didn’t. I must’ve forgotten to reconnect it. Thanks!

Just ran and took a look. It actually looks like it's dried out and split up the side. So looks like it may have popped off on it's own.

Ok check out siliconhoses.com they sell heat resistant hoses in a $30. kit with all the hoses to replace every one under the hood with an upgrade that won’t crack.

    I have mods
It's $50 for the shop kits and they have longer lengths of hose. I actually just ordered up a set. Seems like 8mm is used the most under the hood so you might want to order some extra of that size. They have other colors than the black I linked if you prefer to change it up.

Yea I was mistaken about ABS as well. I don't have it. Now I have to figure out what to do with that spot! The washer fluid reservoir mod would be nice, but so would an air locker....
