I Lamin-X'd a set of squadrons for a guy once upon a time... I personally noticed a decent degradation to the crispness of the light. As a light whore I can't recommend it. These are very strong lenses in my experience, and the cost of replacements is minimal. To each their own of course, but I am not doing it on any of mine.

Thank you. I was asking for other's experiences.

I do not want any degradation in my light output - I think I won't worry about it.

No sweat. At $15 bucks a pop I will happily replace lenses all day to maintain maximum output from a set of upwards of $400 lights...

I'm sure this has been asked before but are Pro's sold in pairs as a flush mount option or just the standard with the mounting bracket?

Flush Mounts are typically only sold individually. We do offer the S2 Pro in a backup kit which includes 2 flush mount lights and an extended wiring harness for the rear of the vehicle.

Thanks. I emailed you guys a few days ago with some questions about wiring harnesses but haven't heard back. I'm looking to get three sets of Squadron Pros. One to replace the factory fog lights and use their wiring. One other pair will mount on a RF front bumper when it shows up and the other on a RF rear bumper. Trying to figure out what harnesses I need to wire this stuff up with as little of a hassle as possible.

Sorry about any delays - it can take a couple of business days to catch up after the weekend.

    Fog Lights:
    Squadron Pro, Pair
    +
Plug and Play, Fog Pocket Kit

    Front and Rear Bumper:
This will involve a little more wiring since there aren't any existing leads on the vehicle. You can purchase a Squadron Pro, Pair and extend the wiring harnesses as necessary.

    Hope this helps

My Sports came in yesterday, these things are awesome! I love the small profile compared to the side shooters I had. Now to dial them in, and decide if I want to swap the combo lenses for the wide cornering.

Therein lies my conundrum. The flush mount pro's don't come in pairs which means they don't come with a harness, right? And if I'm spending almost 1400 on 6 lights it seems silly to spend an additional 140 on a pocket fog light kit just so I have a plug and play wire but will use none of the other components. I may have been confusing with my original post. These lights will be going a Relentless Fab bumper set. The cutouts are designed for the SP flush lights. I am only using the factory wiring, not the factory location. Any ideas?

You could always sell the non-essential parts from the pocket kit. Heck I might be interested in the parts you don't need, ie. the mounting brackets for the OEM fog location and bezel.

I could but honestly thats a fucking hassle. I'm not trying to trash BD; their products are top shelf and I will be purchasing them in the next few weeks. We use them at work on a number of our rigs and they always perform. It just seems a bit cheap to only sell certain items as pairs or certain items with wires or sell harnesses separately.

Just a guess but you probably won’t be able to run all six lights on just the factory fog light wiring due to how much output wattage that would be. You will have to run a separate switch with a harness that would support that output. I have a pair of Squadrons in the fog light location that’s controlled by the factory fog light switch but completely separate wiring harness and switch for my other 4 LED pods. If you wanted to run all 6 on the same factory switch and risk it with overheating the factory wires, then you only need one factory to weather pack connector conversion kit which is on the fog light kit (not sure if they sell it separately but I thought they did). Then you could split each connector into 3 more per side to get 6 total. Just buy weather pack connectors and the special crimping tool and you’ll be able to create your own harness.

I think it’s better not to raise prices to include harnesses.

Making a wire harness is incredibly simple and cheap, and you get to build it to do exactly what you want with no left over material.

I think it’s a plus that they don’t include it and you can buy it extra if you don’t want to build your own.

Edit: if you have a Switch-Pros or s-pod it is even easier.

I know this. One set will be on the factory fog wiring. The other two will have their own circuit on an sPOD.

sPOD is on the way and I’ll probably end up making my own wiring.

Gotcha, not sure what you were going after but makes sense now. Personally, I like the DT connectors better than the weather pack. Seems like a sturdier connection from the elements. I went with these guys to create my 4-1 splitter, then have it running on the Rigid harness.
