OVTune stands for, not getting any work done trying to get the new flash manager loaded. (I know my tune is not available yet, just getting ready)

87 base with ECT is an excellent combo.

Quick question for the guys that have Run the new tunes. I will be running either 87 base normally, and switch to 87 performance for towing/off road. Would it be better to run that or 91 base and 91 performance for towing/off-road? I am interested on keeping my mpg up when normal driving. The cost difference right now is 2.79 for 87 and 2.99 for 92. I have full armor and 32’s. I will eventually end up at 34or 35’s

Edit: I am waiting for the handheld so I can swap as needed.

I know the 02/03/etc.. are still being worked on but I was curious about the “Legacy” tune. I thought it was for all ECU versions. Unlike a lot of people I try to read every post to stay current. No big deal just haven’t seen any talk of it lately or I missed it somewhere.

The last I heard I think it was base tune with a modified ECT shift pattern and then when you press ECT it’s the Performance tune with the same shift pattern.

I'm guessing the Gear Locking Feature will over-ride Shift Sense Pro (SSP) then ?

I'm guessing that Gear Lock will be the Towing driver's best friend (?)

i love the new 1.05 version and have only found 1 issue. i still get the clunk into 1st gear but only when the truck is cold. Is anyone else noticing this? I didn't clear the DTC after installing the tune. Maybe give that a try.

Really haven't logged enough miles with these new tunes to make definitive judgement. I did experience the clunk with 91 performance, when engine is cold. Switched to 91 base, so far no clunk.

I did clear engine learn values via Techstream before flashing 91 performance. Did not clear anything before flashing 91 base.

Legacy tune will be available later, and ONLY for 2WD base model trucks.

Thank you @OVTune It was no longer on the First Post and was curious of it's status.
