A few of us got together this past Saturday. @3pooches is planning a wheeling trip out to Sleepy Creek this weekend, but last word sounded like people are dropping fast due to the possibility of shitty weather.

I’m still putting limiting straps on mine. Cheap insurance for expensive shocks

 

Just figured it was directed at you, my current stock setup certainly doesn't need straps.

 

Exactly why I have them.

I bust out the strap on for that one. Though there will be no pulling out.

 

Where/how are you planning on mounting the frame side hangers?

 

Going to use some 1/4” plate and box in a small portion of the frame directly above the axle. Then will weld the adjustable mount on that.

 

I love how this thread can go from serious stuff, to strap ons, and back to serious stuff within an hour.

 

Yea, the more Im on here and the more I see Tacomas locally modded makes it harder and harder for me to resist going and buying another. Trying to hold out till Im looking really good on my finances and I would like to get this Silverado paid off so I can get a trailer and tow the Tacoma if needed when I get one. Learned alot with the whole episode of the last one.
