I'm happy to but that is no classic, that's an econobox that was neither economical or reliable.

 

what is a tax refund...I'm going to owe probably 3k. It's almost not worth doing the freelance gigs lol. I don't really have any lined up this year so far and I'm sort of excited about that, finally won't have to cut a big ass check to the government in 2020.

I do set aside the amount I expect to owe but it still sucks having to write out a check that big to uncle sam

 

I'm not getting one either, good news is I don't owe anything. It's like a $4 check haha

 

If you get a tax return of $100 or more, you are doing it wrong...

 

When I got hired at my full time gig, I didn't pay attention to the details on the tax form and filled it out so that I owe money every April from this job as well...which kind of sucks but it's only a few hundred. I don't want to correct it and have them take a bigger amount out of each check so I just live with it...but yeah I haven't gotten money back from the government since I was probably 19 years old lol.

True, it's like your giving the government a non-interest loan on your behalf every paycheck when they have to give you a lot back once a year.

 

I took the ASVAB when I was considering the Air Force. Stupid easy. All it does it literally root the stupid people away. It’s all junior high math and common sense.

 

I wish I knew where these people supposedly exist. I started using a highly recommended tax guy last year and I still owed a boatload of money, same as what I calculated on my own. I hear from some other freelancers that they are getting money back every April which makes absolutely zero sense to me since they aren't paying taxes every paycheck, unless they're cheating the system somehow.

 

Haha me neither. I was at the recruiter and the Sargent was like “follow me” and put me literally in the water heater closet with a computer and I took it.

 

So is the SAT though, and people play that up all the time. The ACT had tougher questions, the SAT had dead simple questions written like a moron in the real world would deliver them.

 

SAT is definitely more difficult than the ASVAB. At least in my experience. SAT had high school level Algebra and Trigonometry.

Although we took the SAT during very different periods of time, and Common Core mathematics and English has completely changed the test.

They're out there, but they aren't cheap, and usually they would rather work with business'. Technically though their services are almost free, they save you more than you would spend on them.
