Yes. happens stock, happens tuned, some more than others but after over 40k miles of this happening, nothing has broken yet so it's just an odd characteristic. only happens once or twice when cold in the morning. poor design? yes. broken/wrong/? no.

This, expecting the tune to eliminate excess play some of these trucks have in the drive line is both unrealistic and retarded.o_O

I used that term earlier when referring to pre-updated FM 1.05 tunes. I assume that's what he means too.

Be careful posting pictures of your truck..
Toyota might set up facial recognition software (for trucks) at the service entrance... :sadviolin:

I don't plan on letting them have the chance.

I am past 36k and do my own maintenance so they will only be touching it if its a recall now. A few days out of warranty and whey would not even touch the waffling hood....clearly the original owner was NOT on TW at all

No, I'm running the first 1.05/91 release, which is the only 1.05 release (along with its 87 and 93 versions) currently available for my ECU.

I'm 04A61 and the 91 base I just flashed seems completely different than the initial 1.05 91 from a month ago.

Interesting. I was unaware that Mat had made any changes. What are the main differences? Maybe I should grab the old laptop and give her a refresh tonight.

Alrighty then! Thanks for the info Mat. I'll reflash my truck with the new download while waiting for the Performance tunes to become available.

The initial release of 1.05 was great! The New 1.05 Base is even better. Defiantly more refined. I'm enjoying it until the gear lock is released for the 04A61

The question is... does the the new version Flashing software have the capability to re-Flash your truck using your old saved (original OEM) tune?
Or will you have to revert to the older flashing software and procedure if you ever need to revert to the Stock tune?
