We're still pumping out grilles for those looking for something different than a fake trd pro grill. We can make full bezel-less replacement pieces too if anyone is interested.

Got our first Cavalry Blue color match grille going out today. Also, in case anyone was wondering how the individual letters look on the 2018-19's, here you go.

Take 2 on offering a full replacement grille, assuming that anyone reads this thread anymore. If anyone has any interest in something like this prototype, please speak up now.

For something like this plain one, we can probably get the pricing down to $199 shipped if there's enough demand. Stainless grille with stainless hardware.

Obviously would offer in a matte black, this is just a raw prototype pictured below.

Check my posts in this thread. I have made a few updates and statements regarding how TSS works with this grille. I only use TSS on the turnpike for long drives, but I have had 0 issues with how it works.
If you drive into a blinding snow storm, the sensor could get covered with snow or ice and you might get a warning on the dashboard telling you to clear the sensor. But this can happen in the OEM grille too, and you should not be driving in cruise control in those conditions anyway.
Installation of the sensor is super easy. Unplug the sensor and remove the pin that holds the harness to the front facia. Then remove the font facia as normal. From there it is straight forward with some bolts to the new mounting location.

Thus far, the TSS sensor hasn't been an issue. Like @fatboyfirebass mentioned, he's had good success with his and there's a few other members here on the forum that also can attest to it working as intended.

As for discounts, there is still a free shipping discount. It's automatic on orders over $399, and if your configuration is under that threshold then there's a discount code available on our website in the "deals and offers" tabs of the product description.

Dropped it off for powder coat last week =) Will get in touch when it's back in my hands.

That's the TSS window. You could put in the "plain" grill" but TSS would not work and you'd get an error message on the dashboard that you need to clean the sensor. I have heard there is also an error code if you don't re-connect the harness. So leaving it off the vehicle is probably not an option.

If there was an easy way to get rid of it, then I would gladly remove it in a heartbeat.

I just posted an order for one of your grills on your website. I was wondering if you offer or have a recommended LED kit that would work with your grill?

Hi, I don't personally have a specific kit that I can suggest. I've seen a wide array of different lights used but don't have much 1st hand experience, maybe some owners who have used some of the different kits can give some tips on which are best or some pros/cons to some of them.

I received and installed my new black mesh grill from Custom Car Grills with Tacoma lettering on Monday and installed it immediately. It looks awesome btw! However, I am wanting to install LED lights as appears to be very popular. I have the lights, but my challenge is drilling three small holes in the grill to mount the lights. Does anyone have best practice recommendation for how to drill these holes? The YouTube video that I watched that told me where to get the LED lights said that he used clippers instead of a drill and the results were less than I was hoping to achieve. The concern, also voiced in the video, is about the drill bit catching and bending the aluminum resulting in an ugly mess. Any ideas?

For a small interior cut, a good pair of flush cut wire cutters can usually do the trick. These fit in the slots pretty well and get a good crisp cut: https://www.kleintools.com/catalog/...ronics-pliers/flush-cutter-lightweight-5-inch
