I see A LOT of Pre Runner Off Road's, and A LOT of 4x4 Sport's???

Just wondering why I see this trend A LOT.

I bought a Sport because it came in a Long Bed Double cab and I liked the color matched look and seats better than the SR5 alone. I couldn't care less about the hood scoop.

On a more serious note... I actually bought my Sport because it was the first one I had seen with factory leather at the dealerships I had been to. And I kinda liked the scoop.

    Probably this.

I got a 4x4 sport because I wanted the color matched crap & scoop, and I also knew that it is MORE than capable for the offroading I do. I have yet wish I had a locker.

The new 4x4 sports are just as capable as the 4x4 off-roads with the traction control electronics.

    is a 08' sr5 base 4x4 basically equivalent to a 08' 4x4 sr5 sport(w/out the 3pron outlet, shitty compass, nice hood scoop, seats, wheels , etc.)?
these models both have the LSD! both 4x4, do u save more money buying the base sr5 model o ver the sport!?

 yes - they jump pretty good - batteries crack from jumping and doors don't shut right - they do some bitchin' power slides - couldn't sell it for much afterwards but why do you ask?

I was trrying to make a point for Hookedontronics, that a Prerunner is much more capable than any car off road.

I want to let this be known. If this turns into a Prerunner vs. 4x4 debate, things will not go well for the people who instigate it.
