Yeah I've done a bit of research on it. You can see here in an old post where I adapted the Jaguar unit...

    Jag Alt Install and Prep

and of course you're right on the Big 3 (technically 4 since our trucks don't come stock with a frame ground), all done in 2 gauge wiring.

Do you have a 4cyl or a V6, the Jag alt is only a direct fit for the 4cyl. I picked it up used from a non supercharged 1996 Jaguar XJ6 4.0L on eBay, they're usually 60 bucks or so.

Has anyone seen a lunar mist tacoma with olive green wheels before? Looking at possibly buying some new wheels but wondering how the wheel color will match the silver.

Just want to make sure but Prerunner (6 lug) drive shafts are interchangeable on all 6 lugs correct? Found a wrecked truck locally and am trying to get an OSK drive shaft

Finally got my skid plate put on! It took tracking down a new front cross member, removing a forgotten broken bolt, and some other little tweaks. :bananadance:

If you are asking if a drive shaft from a 4x4 will fit on a Prerunner, the answer is no.

Like the 2wd 6 lug x-tended cab. That drive shaft won't work on my 4x4 6 lug x-tended cab? I thought they were all the same minus the 4 wheel drive system

Ah dammit that's right. I was just picturing from the 3rd member to the CB and not to the transmission. Well the quest continues

The rear portion is the same, which is all you're likely to damage anyways.

Finished the install of my winch/bumper. Found a good location in the engine bay for the controller, but this necessitated lengthening all of the cables.

Used this blank area next to the air box.IMG_0365.jpg

Made up this little bracket that bolted to a couple of existing nuts.IMG_0366.jpg

    and voila

    IMG_0369.jpg

I used a set of heavy duty jumper cables to get the
    #2 gauge
    wire.

Got my 2nd ammo can and mounted it today. Worked out perfect as I can still fit my 2 gas cans between them. Between the ammo cans and the Husky storage boxes I got for the cab, I have a ton of secured storage now.

Replaced my heater core. Took it out from the driver side, so I didn't have to discharge the A/C. As a bonus I resoldered my, never working clock, which just came on today.
