    9 days ago I installed a used CBI T3 bumper, alas that bumper places the trailer plug outlet beyond reach of the oem harness. Extended the harness wires one foot (1’).

    PS. The electric brake wires are heavier gage than everything else.

    Thx Bob, Ya, we were praying that the wind didnt change direction ( it didnt) because we would only have had minutes to go. The Taco was only a month old and was packed to the gills and ready to get out quick.

    You didn’t have to do that. I have a T3 and OEM plug reached. You just have to go underneath and pull some slack by the gas tank.
