I was hoping to either buy or rig up some kind of a grease gun holder that can attach to the bed rails in the back, anyone ever done something like that?

Would be nice to be able to transport the grease gun well keeping it vertical and also keeping it from getting shit in the truck. Haha

How often are you greasing your truck? Seems excessive to keep a grease gun on board lol

Oh that looks cool, unless I am looking at it wrong with that only hold it horizontally though?

Hahaha! Sorry I should have specified, basically this is just so I can transport the grease gun somewhere without risking getting grease inside or all over.

Put one of those quick fists on a T nut, hook it to the rail

I make bed rail mounts that you can use to attach the quick fist mounts to so that it will be vertical... they can be used for almost anything but most people use them to mount ax/shovel combo, but you can turn the quick fists to have them hold stuff vertically.

What is a T nut? Is that the bit that goes in the rail?

    Wut

Man that's awesome. I might look at that at least to check it out for other use as well.

if all you're looking to do is get the grease gun from A to B without grease all over your truck, just throw the grease gun in a garbage bag and put it on the floor inside. Stored my harbor freight one this way in my garage for years and no grease in the garage...

I store my grease guns hanging on nails in the garage. They always leak on things below. That will make some mess...... Garbage bag, box, or old plastic tool box for transport.
