Where did you read anyone expected him to.

    He offered it.

People thought it was a good idea.

And here you are saying.... What exactly.

    So I'm a dongle user,
If down load the new FM that currently only has the 1.05 base tune for 040b03. Will it automatically update with the new files..?

Run p5Flash from the new FM, make sure Tactrix drivers are installed and the Tactrix device is connected securely. That's my $0.02.

    Agreed.

A performance tune with a less aggressive tip-in sounds to me like a ‘Custom Tune’.

@OVTune yes another vote for the performance tunes with normal tip in. On my truck the axel wrap is enough to cause a second lerch when starting from a stop.

FM knows that I have an Automatic because I selected 04B03-AT. So, FM should have logic built in to the software to only allow me to choose appropriate tunes. Ideally I shouldn't be able to see tunes that are not applicable to my vehicle. It would make it so much easier and less confusing for everyone if they spent a little more time on the logic of the user interface.

He won't be changing anything. He'll add a new tune to the download, probably broadcast when it's available and you can get it if you wish.

Is there a way to tell what tune you are currently running? Like, after you do the tune should the calibration change? How do you confirm that the tune successfully loaded other than it say “successful” at the end of flashing??

Mat is a super nice, patient guy. He trys to please everyone.

I am running 93 octane, 1.05 Performance here in icy Chicagoland. Took me three starts to learn to press the accelerator more gently when I didn’t want to spin tires. I wouldn’t have the nerve to complain about the tip-in. I just adjusted.

Your axle shouldn’t wrap that much. That’s your problem. Your leafs are too soft or you don’t have enough of them

I hear you, but it's also up to the software designer to build it that way :notsure:

Confirm by successfully turning on the truck and driving it. Or reflash with the tune again, to make yourself feel better.

    THIS JUST IN.
Frank says we don't need the Performance tune with adjusted tip in. @OVTune

Sorry. I know it was your idea. And I know a lot of us would have liked it. But Frank says no. So.
