I’m tellin ya man if you need another hobby get the stuff to make your own sausage, SOOOO good. We got the nice sausage grinder and all that. Made some damn good sausages. Last time we did jalapeño/cheddar, brats, smoked kielbasa’s, Philly cheesesteak sausage.

I never tasted the paper....but I didn't think it was peach flavored.....and the stuff I bought is more pink than peach.....

 

That is basically what I do when doing something new, stick to a recipe. All bets are off after that though! I make it how I want it, don't really care what everyone else thinks or does. Well unless cooking for more than myself.

Brown sugar is just refined white sugar with molasses added. Bet you could remove a lot of the sweetness right there. To where YOU like it.

Made my first real money running a trapline skinning and fleshing fur bearing animals as a kid. Not sure how many wild animals and farm animals I have skinned over the years, but a lot. And pig skin is the worst. Never cut myself. But when it comes to cooking and food prep... I still have scars on a few fingers

Not sure what is up with that, but those gloves are looking good to me also.

Ya it’s cool. I like that I can control what’s in the sausage, the flavor profile and so on. Next time on the jalapeño/cheddar I’m doing more cheese, smaller dice on the jalapeños and might add crushed garlic instead of powder. Also thought about doing the jalapeños fire roasted.

 

I placed my order Thursday or Friday last week. I know @bvbull200 said he was going out of town or something though so I rushed to put my order in so he’d send it out before he left
