yeah I mean you don't really need that much. drive shaft is good IF you have one, but they're expensive to buy as spares. wheel bearings aren't a bad idea either, but again also expensive.

I was considering a drive shaft as mine already has a nice ring cut around it but I really do not want to spend the money.

I've only heard of a couple of rare instances when someone had driveshaft issues in these trucks. Worst case IMO you leave the truck on the trail and ride passenger (or tow the truck) to go get a drive shaft if it's not driveable and just compensate whoever is taking you lol

Yes he does. I just replaced my inner and outer tie rods this weekend. 3rd set on the truck. I thought about his again. If they are still holding up, they could be worth it. The only thing I didn't like about them is that the uniball is below the spindle and it just seems to stick down a long ways. May be more of a perception than a real potential issue.

I still don't understand why a company hasn't jumped on making something like these for Tacomas. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/...ke/chevrolet/model/silverado-1500/submodel/ss

Very popular in the 1/2 ton and up crowd running larger tires and bending tie rods.

What Scotty said is a good collection for the trip and if @TacoAlaMode didn't throw his inner and outer tie rods away they would make good spares for you if you can get them from him.

I have my old tie rods I replaced I can give to Brian as spares as well. They are loosey goosey but not bent or anything. Would get you home.
