He said multiple times it wouldn't happen til after the tunes coming, and that it wouldn't take any tunes away. But add to them.

It said successful after the flash, but I didn’t really notice any difference at all.. I flashed the 91 base, performance isn’t out for me yet.. but there is no other way to check??

Well, iirc OVT maps are unreadable so you can't just read your ECU. You can disconnect your battery for 10 mins to have it dump data and learned values in case you've one of the weird ECUs that doesn't dump on a flash.

Anyways. I love the 91 base tune. I don't need anything else at this point. I'll use this one permanently.
All I was saying is that IF he made a performance tune with less tip in (Like he suggested) I'd try it.

He said if folks wanted performance tune with less tip in he could do it and it wouldnt be a problem because the new flash manager makes it easier for him but after he releases the tune for the rest of the dongle users ;-0

Yes, my question was pure sarcasm, seeing as TJ has been repeating that Mat had suggested it.

Sounds like a Jeep suspension issue, you're the first I've heard of with wrapping issues on these Tacos.

Will changing the tip in change the available torque and HP at all or other points of the tune ?
I have a hill that changes altitude by about 200 feet in 1/4 mile or less that I watch what gear I can hold/gain speed / or it has to down shift while going up when starting out at the bottom at 55 mph .
So far only the new 91 performance tune can use 5th gear at 2200 rpm and gain speed on the way up .All other tunes including the new 91 base tune and 87 performance tunes need to downshift to 4th to hold speed , and to 3rd to gain speed.
If you change the tip in on the 91 performance tune will that change also ?

I was thinking more like. For now 87 Base tune for everyday driving. Then switch to 87 performance for towing/off-road. Later after I move up to 34/35s the do the same as above but with 91 tune. Am I over thinking this?

perhaps, the performance (high tip-in) tune does seem more logical with bigger heavier tires or to get the truck moving faster
