Get the extra seal!! You can do it without touching the current, but definitely nice to have on hand. They must use the same shipping math as Wheelers, but its worth it!

Side note: MAKE SURE *YOU* PLUG THE HOLE and don't turn your back on it and give someone a chance to sneak in and try if you get frustrated if they don't know exactly what you're trying to accomplish!! I was working on getting it in there got a bit frustrated on the fit, Dad popped down shoved it back in past the plastic and went "It's in", I was like "Sweet!" when to look and said, "Ummmm !@^&%&!". He shoved it into the IFS, drained it and played with a extended magnet, some paracord, and a few fishing hooks and pliers, but we were able to retrieve it! Only took like 6 hours :taco:, it goes in one way, must come out exactly the same direction/angle! I've since demoted him to "Flashlight Holder!"

Will do. It seems like an intimidating job but I think with plenty of YouTube videos and TW advice I can get it done. Any special tools y’all used?

It's not that bad once you've familiarized yourself thoroughly and get in there and start going. No special tools except for the puller, I was able to borrow it from my fathers brothers nephews cousins former roommate. Everything else was basic and typically addressed in the videos. 2" PVC, Seal driver set, Chisel & hammer to pop the CV out/in. It probably would have taken 1.5 to 2 hours total had there not been an incident.

Sounds good. It’s gonna be part of a bigger project so I just need to see how much time will be given to that part.

As been said might as well do the seal too. It's right there and won't hurt from being replaced.

Definitely get the extra seal just in case. You will need a 35 MM nut, breaker bar, pliers, large flathead, hammer, puller tool, 19mm, replacement bearing (put in freezer for 30 minutes before installing flat face flush), and race driver set.

I did the autozone rent-a-tool for the race driver set, slide hammer, and cv axle puller attachment. Used the race driver set, did not need the slide hammer/cv puller (used a large flathead with a hammer instead).

There are a few helpful writeups on here:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/ecgs-bushing-replacement-and-write-up-to-follow.472081/

But I also found this video very helpful:

I didn't get the weight but I was told the cure time in the mold is eight hours, where a regular tire is about thirty minutes.

Yeah. The OEM bars are struggling a little and I’m planning to add more stuff I got a deal come my way so I jumped on it.

Might be interested in it. Do you happen to know the measurements?

Mine has the middle section. I don’t have anywhere to store it so I just left it.

Okay cool. I like the longer baskets so it doesn’t look tiny on the roof!
