TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

I second all of this. Still needed the valve body. In the instructions they have you make an adjustment to the solenoid that controls lockup rpm.

If you’re all manual, ignore all of this.

 

I plan on that, prior to any further adjustments. I’m due for a rotation and balance anyway.

 

I like it. Can you get it with dual displays so you can monitor both sensors?

 

Not sure of what the limitations are. I’d assume whatever the AEM gauge displays is what the mirror could. I just require AFR. Boost gauge seems rather pointless for me. I want to know how much it costs really.

 

That’s pretty slick. Lots of gauges. Now like AEM, PLx, Innovate are pretty thin so if you can find a spot on dash you can probably just drill hole and mount them. But that mirror is pretty stealth.

 

Damnit. J-bung sim combo lasted a couple days. Codes a tripped.

I really hope sims or sims/j-bung combo works for me. I fk’n hate CEL’s.

What’s the deal with ovtune not being able to get those codes disabled? As far as I remember he was confident he could disable them..

 

Ovtune can. I just suck at computers. I cant figure out how to mail my tune back. Sounds simple. Not for me. Last time I had to mail my handheld to him because neither of us could figure out why it wouldn't load.

 

I’m no bueno at computers either.....

But there are no laws where I’m at. And the truck is for closed course competition use only. (Unless we get snow like the last 2weeks)

 

And by no means are we advocating for the circumvention of any laws.

 

so i have dtlt headers and urd y pipe and thinking my cat back is limiting more power. i have a cheery bomb welded in and a weld in muffler. should i go with a urd cat back for the most performance gains? i just dont want it stupid loud. and i hate the thought of spending that money on a cat back and then welding a resonator in.
