Solace is a fairly new Northern Virginia brewery and are starting to make some good beers. Starting distributing pretty fast too.

Now is that any good? I'm considering a blueberry ale for my next brew but skeptical as the only fruit I've had do well/enjoyed the taste of is tangerine.

Visited them on my last trip to the DC/RVA area. I was impressed with some of the stuff they had. Made sure to bring some cans back home on that trip.

I was incredibly disappointed when I heard that news. Pernicious is still one of my favorite IPAs.

Agreed. They make great stuff but still mad about it. I love pernicious and Napoleon complex.

My favorite beer while home this RR... Amazing. Gilded by Commonwealth - El Dorado, Citra and Idaho 7 hops. Realized the pic was shit so included the essentials.

Is it just me, or are there a ton of floaters in there? Hazy is one thing, but that looks like they fermented it in the can haha

    Well that's what really matters.

I'm just sitting here bitter (no IPA pun intended) I can't drink. 9 more days til I go back to punishing my liver.

No real pics other than the morning after yeast cake starting, but I brewed up Luponic Abortion 004 yesterday with the father in law. Mostly Pale malt and a hint of Crystal 15, then bittered with Mosaic and hop stand with Amarillo and Simcoe with a hint of the last bit of Mosaic I had. Going to dry hop with just another hint of Amarillo and Simcoe. Once this dry spell is over, I need to figure out how my 2 sours are doing and decide how I want to fruit them, or just keg/bottle as is and get another few gallons started.
