weird, how i have i missed this thread?

anyway i have a Taurus, sorry no pics at the moment. had an old High Standard before that which was pretty worked over, and a small town seller liked it so traded for the new Taurus which was smoother out of the box. haven't gone custom on it yet.

Very good. My R1 Enhanced is extremely well made and tight, yet slides well. Shoots good, feels right, looks gorgeous. I'm using Remington and Wilson mags with no issues.

I’ve got a black one to put together next. Hopefully it will be tighter - I learned a lot assembling this one.

WTF is with those mags? Did you make your own out of construction paper?

The whole thing is card stock. It’s a model. Because why not?

Ok, that makes sense. The gun itself I thought was just terrible resolution on a really old cell camera or something, but the mags really didn't look right

They don’t stay in very well. I made internal tension springs attached to the handle, but the mag will still drop out.

My wife questions why I made it, but she also questioned why I once built a B-52D with a 40” wingspan. “Because I can” was always the answer.
