That's not how these work. These are just a guideline for how the dealer should fix common problems that are covered under warranty.

You don't necessarily have any of these. If you do have a problem you can describe it to the dealer and they will decide if or if not to fix your truck as per these instructions.

Talked to a service person at my local dealer and he tried telling me theres no fix for this shifting issue yet. Then I told him about these bulletins and he changed his tune. I really don't understand why these tech's try to blow you off on this. You don't want people to buy your trucks? You know that puts you out of a job if no one is buying these trucks and cars and bringing them in for service right?
Getting this done at my first oil change coming soon. I will post on how it reacts after I get it done.

 

Is there a TSB for the seat heaters? Couldn't find any but was told there was

 

I’ve searched and I see many TSBs some for manual others for automatic. I have a 2018 SR5 Automatic. What is the TSB ECU update for a transmission that hunts for gears, hardshift from 1st to 2nd and also when in cruise control it downshifts and never changes back to 5th.

The one in this thread is for 2017. The PDF would also help but if anything I’ll google it.

There has been a leaf spring tsb issued.

 

thanks. the dealer did install these "helper springs" recommended in the tsb back in 2010-11 on my first truck. didn't know if current vehicles had new issues & solution(s).

 

Anyone see T-SB-0021-19 yet? I just checked my truck and I see symptoms of this happening.

Don't forget the new 3/28/19 KOB Recall- Pre-Collision System (PCS) for some 2018/19 Tacomas/Tundras

 

Dealer wouldn’t complete this recall on my truck due to my OEM TRD Pro grill. Apparently the sensor location is not correct for a TRD Off Road with a Pro grill. SMH

 

That's the recall letter. I've been looking out for the actual instructions that the mechanic will read but I haven't seen it on this forum yet.
