You checked the fuses with a meter or light test.... under the dash and hood??
    Any recent electrical mods??

If it's an '18, why wouldn't you take it to the dealer for warranty repairs?

I did and they said we can't work on it today and needed to set another appointment also they said it might or might not be under warranty cause of all the extra lights I added like roof, ditch lights etc etc but that's just BS from the dealer

Not trying to defend the dealer here but I wonder why it would be BS for the dealer to say it may or may not be covered by warranty sight unseen especially with the electrical mods?

These trucks electrical system are complicated... tapping into wires or using a add a fuse to a circuit can result in major gremlins. A lot of people were just having issue replacing stock bulbs with LEDs. Resistance is different and the computer freak the fuck out.

That's what the idiot said to me I told him that it's bs and doesn't make sense since my mods are connected to the battery and shouldn't affect the taillights

Make sure one of the wires isn't grounding somewhere.

Like I said, why would it be BS for a dealer to commit one way or the other when they haven't even seen your truck for the problem you say you have? I don't think the dealer was being unreasonable. Unless pressed, I think the smart thing for the dealer to do is not say anything until they look at the problem. Not all dealers are crooked you know.

In California it's a rare thing to be a honest dealer.

Sorry, as a warranty provider I'd have said the same thing.

They didn't say 'no'. They said they didn't 'know'. Which is actually true until they dig into it, which they had not done.

If you have done all your additions perfectly, there's no problem and they'll do the repair under warranty. If you didn't.............

One of the risks of modifications.

Hope you find it and can correct it yourself.

Cold and raining here, but it should be in the box right behind the battery.
