got hit with a pretty decent storm in the northeast here this week and took the 235 Falkens out for a rip. The backroads had 6-12 inches of powder (found some unplowed) and the skinnies preformed excellent. A blast to be out driving around!

Anyone running a 255/80/17 on a 9 inch wide rim? I’m seeing sometimes max width recommended for the tire is 8.5

    It's getting there.
Guys I'm thinking about switching from my 265/75r16 KO2's to something in the 255/85r16 range. I'm on a OME kit with 888 coils, dakars and Light Racing UCA's. I should clear everything pretty well with the stock wheels from ty TRDOR right?

You got any pics yet? I run the same wheel and tire in a 265/75/16. I have thought about jumping to the skinnys when my current set wear out.

2nd gen stock height 255/75r17 duratrac. Fit great. Work well, look even better. Plus the skinnies are great in the snow.

Thanks for posting this. Your truck looks great!! I am going to pull the trigger on a set of 255/70R18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. The base specs are the same as the 255/75R17 that you are running. The manufacturing specs on the NItto's are just slightly different being 0.100 taller and 0.240 wider than the Duratracs.

Are you running any wheel spacers?

Do you rub at full lock?

    Thanks again!
