my old lady and me really wanna do a Colorado trip.. things keep getting in the way though

I've got to figure out whether I'm going to reinforce or not... and how I'm going to if I am.

 

FWIW @Chux has like one million lbs on his cap with a bunch of extra holes drilled, wheels a lot and is fine. I think he’s slowly starting to get cracks but that’s years in the making. For you and your uses I think just adding rails would be sufficient.

That’s what I use to plug the drain for when I take bathes.

 

this is why I have steel cable, I'm too lazy to wash it and dudes don't send me dick pics

 

Wait. Wait. I have to ask. Your “drain” or the bath drain?

 

Syn has definitely been more maintenance but I still vastly prefer it over steel. Much easier to physically handle during recovery

 

1) you're not a true overlander unless you bathe with your synth winch line

2) I need to do this in the spring (too cold now) and install my bubba rope grabber thing

Mine came unstuck from the drum when I took my line out, so I’ll just duct tape it back on when I respool later this week. Very handy though compared to a set screw.

 

This is facts.

It was cold the other day but still got it done after power washing the truck. It always amazes me how dirty the water gets from a quick hand wash. Also applied more red electrical tape to my warning (stop pulling line) area, the fist round of tape was tattered from line use.

 

I've used my winch to recover other people way more than myself I just make them run the cable lol

 

Are we still talking about the line, or the plug?! I am confused but moreso, very disturbed. I think I need a crayon........

 

3 weeks of busting drifts is fun but getting old.
