I didn't audition but do enjoy the show. I can't wait for Adam to get eliminated, he bugs the hell out of me.

I agree Adam is a douche. I think JJ will take it. Although Brad performs well in the elimination challenges. It should be a good finish.

Brad does have some skills but he is always making excuses. He needs to stop whining and make the most out of each event.

Lol, yea he is a whiner. My favorite was the grip angle comment on the Beretta vs. the Glock. As soon as he said that I grabbed my Glock 19 and Beretta 92 and compared them side by side. They're virtually identical.

That was pretty funny. That's pretty sweet you have both guns. [IMG]

I wish they would have had an exhibition shooter like Tom Knapp in the group. I'm not sure about his pistol skills but his is amazing with a shotgun and rifle.

I like the show, although it's obviously rigged some. Like, last week, i can't believe andre would really do something so dumb, I get the feeling they just wanted to keep kelly in it because the audience likes him...

And I do kind of wish it was more about shooting than reality tv and survivor-type stuff, but oh well. I also wonder where they got the shooters from - I get the impression the real world-class shooters didn't want to risk their reputations on a tv show.

Seeing all the different weapon styles is pretty cool though and the main reason I watch.

i watched a few episodes and honestly im not that impressed. like in the challenge where they used a garand at like 100 yards and made it seem intense. half of them missed. i would expect the top shots in the world to be able to hit a target at 100 yards with a garand. that is a good shootin rifle and they aught to do atleast 200 or 300 yards

I agree. Some of the shots that were missed were really easy. Mike from the first episode who couldn't hit a 10 inch target at 100 yds, gimme a break. I think JJ and Blake are the only consistent shooters in the show. Brad makes me laugh bc he's supposedly an IPSC grand master. Grand master level shooters don't miss. I'm sorry but they don't. Maybe he needs to step out of production division and try some limited or open class events.

I like this show. It's a good show. But I completely agree, either Blake or JJ is going to win. They are the only ones who are consistent. It's been interesting seeing the challenges that they come up with for the contestants. The show is really interesting. I thoroughly can't wait for Adam to be eliminated, that guy gets on my nerves. He complains about someone outing him for making a plan behind everyone's back, would he have been upset had nothing been said? No he would have been happy...but because someone had their own plan he got pissed. What a loser. He talks about loyalty and respect, but when the tables are turned he has none. All I have to say is adios.

IMO it is. It's pretty cool to see the different guns being used in different competitions. I would love to give it try.

I have competed in a couple 3 gun comps but nothing too serious.

There have been some competitors posting on other web forums with comentary. Not of future events obviously, but Adam posts regulary on ARFCOM and has been very forthcoming. The others, not so verbose.

It seems from his comentary the show does not show everything(big suprise). Thier practice with the rifles in the first episode was only 5 shots each, and limited by time, some team members not even getting a chance to shoot. The prop mangers handed them "A" rifle with blue or red tape on it at the time of competition, not necessarily the same as what they "dialed" in the day before. They did not think to check serial nos. or check sights. If I was handed a new to me used rifle with -0- range time with it, no sight in at all, in a competion, yeah I think that would be difficult. I would have to really depend on my spotter to make adjustments to dial in on the fly.

Some scuttlebut is that some sponsors did not allow their shooters to try out for the show o_O... as for the auditon, yes auditon, it was described that after shooting, you were CASTED...so after a minimum of shooting ability, the producers selected you based on their critera. So no wonder after some episodes, the show is featuring personalites rather than skill, this is T.V. after all.

As for my pick, J.J. or Blake...have to be bias to the IPSC guys. I shoot IPSC/3-gun-no where close to thier level and have a deep respect for the skill and dedication it takes to get there. Those skill have to translate well to the obscure challenges the show has.

All in all, have to admit, I record every episode, watch them all and enjoy them all. LIke that they have shooting on T.V. exposing the masses n all. Showing what can be done with a firearm, it can be fun, showcase what skills people have.

I'm liking the show so far. I think the editors have balanced the reality show BS with shooting activities just about right.
I really like how the ex-military and LEO 'badasses' keep losing to babyface Kelly...they keep talking how 'he's inexperienced.... I have facial hair, so I'm a toughguy!' then he owns them.
I really hope Kelly wins just to piss them off more.
Kinda like when Jeff Gordon was owning NASCAR and all the rednecks were beside themselves because he didn't have a mustache or accent.

On a related note, those stupid fucks voting kelly into that challenge, when he made the hardest shot out of everybody on red. Fuckers! I liked Denny, but now I kinda want to punch his face in.

I worked on J.J.'s car when I worked for best buy a few years ago. He was talking to one of my workers about being a marksmen. He was a nice guy, and put some nice shit into his truck. He had an xterra, we did a in dash screen and I think a sub. Crazy to see him on T.V. now.
